Grace Cathedral ist so etwas wie die Heimat des Labyrinths in den USA. Lauren Artress hat in der Kathedrale von Chartres in Frankreich das alte Labyrinth wieder entdeckt und mit ihrem Buch Walking A Sacred Path ••• Rediscovering the Labyrinth as a Spiritual Tool eine weltweite Renaissance der Labyrinthidee ausgelöst. Sie hat auch das Labyrinth in die Grace Cathedral in San Francisco gebracht. Aber auch vor der Kathedrale gibt es eines.
